Preparing Your Home, Family, and Business for TERRORIST ATTACKS

terrorist attacksPreparing Your Home, Family, and Business for TERRORIST ATTACKS is the name of a new publication put out by Rep Robert Pittenger, the Chairman of the Congressional Task Force on Terrorism and Unconventional Warfare.  it can be downloaded for free at the above link.

Rep Pittenger made the following statement when asked why he published the manual. “There are U.S. cells today of terrorists that we’re all aware of. I chair the Congressional Task Force on Terrorism, and so I’m conscious of the concerns, and I just think we would be wise as a country to prepare ourselves better for what could happen,”

I reviewed this manual and it is a fairly good overview for people who are less aware.  This book has some good information like the table that shows the suggested antidotes for chemical and biological poisoning.

I am going to share this manual with some friends who are not as prepared as they could be.  This manual looks like it can be a good tool to wake people up to the possibility of terrorist attacks on US soil.  While we have had several, there is a strong possibility of additional attacks at any time.

The nice thing about a manual like this is that you can approach someone without blowing your operational secrecy.  Just show them the manual like it is the first time you have thought of these possibilities.  Then ask what do we do now.  Let them make the first suggestions.

This gives you a chance to feel someone out without blowing your cover.  You may end up helping someone start prepping.  At the very less they are better off if they just read the book than they were before.

For a small book this manual has a lot of good information on Terrorist attacks, share it with your family and friends.
