More on MedCallAssist and Their Medical Supplies

A while back, I wrote a post on the medical kit sold by the Doctors at MedCallAssist This is a company located in Alaska that provides advance medical kits to people who live in remote areas.  Along with the kit comes an emergency phone number that connects you to an ER Doctor who instructs you on what to do until medical care can arrive.

I recently received a couple more items from them.  A suturing set that includes the following items

  • 1 CSR Wrap
  • 1 Fenestrated drape
  • 2 Absobent towels
  • 10 Gauze sponges
  • 1 Ampule cracker
  • 1 Lidocaine HCI solution
  • 1 Syringe
  • 1 Needle 18G x 1 ½”
  • 1 Needle 27G x ½”
  • 1 Scissors
  • 1 Forcep
  • 1 snag free needle holder
  • 1 Tray

In addition they sent me a bottle of 1% lidocaine HCI. And some extra sutures.   I have found the company good to deal with and would recommend them.

Be sure and check that purchasing and possessing this kit does not violate your local and state laws

We live in a remote area in Northern Idaho and for four months of the year we are unable to get minor medical emergence care. I am interested in purchasing your medical kit.
