After reading Howard’s article about the new gun control laws in California, it struck me how the left never really gives up on any of their goals, no matter how unpopular they might be with the majority of the population. Gun control is a prime example. In spite of liberal politicians claiming they won’t touch our guns, these recent examples show that to be a lie.
Even if the citizens of California vote to overturn those laws, there is surely other restrictive legislation waiting in the wings. Today I thought I would write a guest post on a subject that I have normally avoided. That is firearms, gun control and protecting the Second Amendment. Now, the situation I am writing on currently applies only to California. So why do you care, if you don’t live in this left wing state run by crazies? If the left has its way, these new laws will spread to other areas.

Quite a few of you read the post we put up a few days ago Refugees Over Run Germany, From an Expat’s Prospective. Since then we have received more information on what is happening in Europe and the increase in crime rates. Violent crime is particular is on the rise and firearms are not available for self defense. Law abiding citizens find firearms hard to get, but the terrorist have no problem getting them.

In every society, there is always a portion of the public that for one reason or another doesn’t own firearms. This may be because of laws prohibiting them, finances or simple a lack of a desire or a pacifistic nature.
When push finally comes to shove as it has in parts of the East Coast and a weapon is needed the lack of a firearm doesn’t prevent you from getting a weapon, it merely means that you do not have the best choice.
