The blog does benefit from sales through the Amazon affiliate program. If you click on an Amazon link in any articles and then “click through” to order any product from Amazon.com (not just the ones listed in our catalog), then we will earn a modest sales commission. This does not impact the price charged by Amazon in any way.

We also have affiliate relationship with Survival Frog. These are products we regularly use and commission from their sales help cover the costs of running Preparedness Advice. From time to time, we may add another affiliate company, depending on their product line and its quality.

Occasionally, the product lines of some advertisers may overlap. I have always believed in offering choices to my readers when it comes to products and companies that I trust. I do not have any exclusive or non-compete agreements with any companies.

Not a financial advisor

Very occasionally, articles will be posted on the subject of budgeting, purchases, precious metals, or other financial related topics. No one affiliated with Preparedness Advice are paid investment counselors or advisors and none are employed by any company that advertises on the site.

Occasional advertisements for any medical device, treatment, drug, or food supplement is solely the responsibility of the advertiser and are in no way endorsed or accredited by Preparedness Advice blog, or its principals. As well, owners are not lawyers, and do not give legal advice. Occasionally, laws, regulations, and case citations may be mentioned in blog articles or weekly email newsletters. In no way do they constitute legal advice. Laws change frequently. Consult a lawyer if you have legal questions.
